Concept: A People or family, tribe or nation with a common lineage who are Holy, consecrated, set aside, made pure, without blemish or wrinkle.
Ex 22:31 "You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs.
Deut 7:6 For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
Deut 28:9-10 The LORD WILL establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD YOUR God and walk in his ways.
Isa 62:12They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; AND you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.
Dan 8:24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty men and the holy people. NIV
Please read and then re-read these verses and embrace all that God says and then accept that He says it about you.
Though out our days, nights, weeks, months and years in this world we receive so many messages about who or what we are, can or should be.
There is however only one report about us that we can trust rest in and hold onto as real. That report or message is the Report of the Lord.
Today Father, we rejoice in the truth you speak continually and throughout time and space concerning us, from everlasting to everlasting!
We are your Holy People and we embrace all that is contained within these verses spoken by the very breath of God about us!
