Live Again: Wholeness After Divorce

Introducing “Live Again: Wholeness After Divorce DVD” –

The only faith-based divorce recovery video series just for women

Session 1:  Reality Check: Acceptance.  There are few things in life more devastating and earth shattering than going through a divorce. Some women knew it was coming, but for others they felt like a train hit them head-on out of nowhere. This session focuses on how to survive the shock and trauma of this new life. The reality of a divorce is both overwhelming and unimaginable. It’s so hard to process the idea you are no longer married. This session will help you to get beyond the unbelief and the despair of what you are facing and find not only acceptance but also hope.
Session 2:  Forgiveness. It’s been said that not forgiving another person is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. Refusing to forgive is a never- ending battle that leads to bitterness, and keeps you in bondage to anger and resentment. Yet no matter who you are, when injustices have been done or false accusations have been made, it takes everything in you and God’s supernatural power and love to help you walk out the act of forgiveness. This session focuses on one of most difficult things women of divorce struggle with: Not only forgiving the other person, but also ourselves.

Session 3: The Loneliness Giant. The agony of being alone, the nights when you’re all alone and the kids are in bed, it’s just you and the quiet. And the feelings of loneliness just sweep in and surround you. Moments like these are some of the hardest. In the busyness of the day it is easy to forget the pain and loss, when nighttime falls, or when the kids are with their dad, there’s no one but you. It’s almost unbearable. And then there are the loneliness reminders: like sitting alone at church or sitting alone at dinner or sitting alone at home when everyone else is out enjoying themselves. The first year it can even be difficult to get out of your pajamas and get the kids to school on time. This session helps you cope with the Giant of Loneliness.
Session 4: The Real Enemy: Lies Women Believe. Many women struggle with negative thoughts saying,“You’re not worthy. No one will ever want you. Look how low you’ve fallen. What reason do you have to live?” Do these lies sound familiar? Many women have to fight those messages every day and resist the enemy and his plan to destroy them. Who is our real enemy? Is it our ex-husband? Do we feel God is against us? This session focuses on where these lies really come from and how to stand firm against them, confident knowing we have value in the eyes of God.
Session 5: Respect Yourself.  It’s not easy to respect yourself or feel worthy of respect when you are at one of the lowest moments of your life. Your world has been shattered into a million little pieces and your value has been crushed by the horrible outcome of divorce. We tend to attract people at our common level of woundedness. And just like a person in an automobile accident, we need to recover from our wounds before we are healthy again. During this vulnerable time, we learn how to better care for ourselves and protect ourselves from predators. Many women feel so low, they get swept off their feet by the first man who pays attention to them. This session helps you recover your self-respect and find your identity in God.
Session 6: Sexless and Single: Sex and Dating. We all need to be loved. And we all desire closeness to feel truly cherished. Our brains are hardwired from birth to need intimacy. But are we really getting the love and commitment we crave when we join ourselves with someone who is not our spouse? Get a man and a woman’s perspective from expert authors Dr. Katherine Hart Weber (Secrets of Eve: Understanding the Secrets of Female Sexuality) and Dr. Tim Alan Gardner (Sacred Sex) share about following God’s principles. These principles apply to us just as much as they apply to our teenagers. But what if you’ve fallen in this area? We aren’t here to condemn you but show you how to navigate through this area of life better. This session will guide us through the topic of sexuality and wholeness.

Session 7: Beyond the Shame and Guilt. Shame and guilt go hand in hand with divorce. It’s almost impossible not to feel there’s a big D for divorce on your forehead and a black cloud following your every move. This is something all of us naturally feel at first. But to stay in bondage to shame and to continue to be enslaved by the guilt will not only keep you from your purpose, but will also keep you distant in your relationship with God. If you don’t feel worthy enough, good enough, or clean enough, you most likely don’t feel you can approach the Lord. But his mercies, forgiveness, and grace are awaiting you today. Dale Dunnewald, counselor and president of Grace Ministries, has counseled hundreds of women, guiding them on the path from shame and guilt to joy and confidence in the Lord.

Session 8: Panel Discussion – Discovering a Whole New You. God is in the business of creating something wonderful out of the ashes. Four women tell their stories of moving from brokenness to wholeness. No matter how devastating your story, if you allow God to rebuild the pieces and show you who you are in Christ, you will live and you will laugh again.

Feasts of the Bible

Complete Kit for the Feasts of the Bible 6-session DVD-based Study

Why would a Christian want to study the Feasts of the Bible?  How can the Feasts celebrated by the Hebrew people be meaningful today for Christian and Jew alike? Where should I start in studying the feasts of the Bible? With so many books and video teachings which one can I trust?

This series published by Rose Publishing developed by Sam Nadler founder of Word of Messiah Ministries answers these questions and many more. Sam was raised a Jew and later became a Believer in Jesus as the Messiah. The depth and scope of his insight and understanding presented in this study will inform and delight you as you discover how God’s appointed times are designed to bring our relationship with Him into redemptive fulfillment in Jesus the Messiah.

The first appointed time God has established is the Sabbath. This time of rest in which God desired to dwell with us in an ongoing relationship was corrupted when we as a race represented by Adam and Eve chose to destroy our relationship with God by disobedience.

The Appointed times which include the Sabbath and the Feasts were designed to restore or redeem our relationship and rest in Him. They foreshadow God’s plan for us and are fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah in amazing detail.

I am greatly impressed with how well written, visually appealing and coordinated the DVD, Power Point, Book, Leaders and Participants guide along with the Pamphlet are. Each one is of the highest quality and easy to use. It has been a delight to review and complete this study. I highly recommend it.

The link below will provide greater detail as to the content of these materials.

Things you will discover in masterful detail.
  • ·      You will discover that Sabbath is more than a day off and that God intended it as the beginning of dwelling in relationship with us.
  • ·      That there is an amazing amount of revelation and insight in such simple things like how unleavened bread applies to our spiritual life.
  • ·      The unveiling of the Lamb throughout the Bible.
  • ·      How Jesus fulfills the celebration of First fruits, which points to the resurrection. How the Feast of Pentecost is about the sanctification or ongoing making pure of God’s people as well as the outpouring of His power. When Acts 1:8 says we shall be witnesses it is about revealing God to others in our how transformation.
  • ·      How the Feast of Trumpets is about gathering God’s people for the Fulfillment of His plans. The Day of Atonement, which is for all Israel and all peoples to be made right with God who is King of the Universe.
  • ·      How the Feast of Tabernacles is a celebration of God’s provision for His people and its place in the Mount of transfiguration recounted in the Gospels.
  • ·      How the Feast of Hanukkah is revealed in full as we place our faith in Jesus. How the account of Ester’s victory through God’s favor on His people in the greatest struggle is indeed a great cause for celebration and perseverance in faith.

There is so much more than this review can include so go now to the Rose Publishing link included above and get your copy today. Your church, Bible study, home group, Sunday School class or personal study will be greatly enhanced through this masterfully done study.

Designed For Fulfillment

Based on the teachings of Arthur Burk, Charles R Wale has put together an amazing manual that will give you an in-depth understanding of the redemptive gifts described in Roman 12:6-8. Each one of us has been fashioned by God for a wondrous purpose in the Earth, but if we dont understand our redemptive design, we will never fully fulfill the purpose for which He created us. Through this teaching you will not only come to understand your redemptive gifting, but you will begin to see the gifting of others and how we can fit together within the Body for His Glory.

Do Not Panic

Will You Waste Time Being Fearful Today!

The next moment is as much beyond our grasp, and as much in God’s care, as that a hundred years away.
Care for the next minute is just as foolish as care for a day in the next thousand years.
In neither can we do anything, in both God is doing everything.

Biblical Immersion and the Transformation of a Worldview.

I have been fascinated as I have traveled on this journey with Jesus at how very much He has changed my world view. Beginning that day when He reached out to me and rescued me from the mire and dust to see how many false things I believed about the world around me, the nature of people, their and abilities, as well as, the spirit realm.

I experienced something as a young believer who was passionate about following Jesus that changed the way I saw and experienced the world around me and within me. Today we would call what happened to me a Biblical immersion (immerse: reflexive verb to become completely occupied with something, giving all your time, energy, or concentration to it). Every day for months I immersed myself in the Word of God reading the Bible and praying for hours about what I had read everyday. This total immersion not only illuminated (transitive and intransitive verb to provide somebody with knowledge or with intellectual or spiritual enlightenment) me but challenged everything I believed, everything I understood and the way I interacted with the world and everyone in it. Every thought, action and belief came under the conviction and illumination of the Holy Spirit. I spent many and hour repenting and grew in grace and truth. This process did not stop but has has continued for many years now and I have come to understand that my World view has continuously been changed and molded as I have submitted myself, my experiences and beliefs to God.

Another significant part of my transformation was the Christ like love and wisdom of my first pastor, his wife and the church they led. Pastor Jim and Julie Maley and the people of what is now the Pueblo Christian Center taught me by example what the Good News of Jesus looked like in everyday life.
My journey as a believer has also been shaped by others in the Kingdom of God who have written books which are important in adding to or understanding of what we are a part of and just how our World-view impacts our usefulness to God. One of the many books that have impacted me is below.
This book opened my eyes to the area of World-view many years ago and is still around, now in its 4th addition. James Sire's "The Universe Next Door" is a wonderful resource and should be mandatory reading for all Christians who interact with anyone who was not been raised in the Church. Sub titled 'A Basic World-view Catalog' the reader of this book is treated to insights, such as how the Church's weakened Spiritual state led to the rise of false religions and a dependency on science as the underpinning of mankind's belief systems.
If you want to know more go to the IVP web site or the Equippers Tool Box @

The primary reason for mentioning this book is the comparison of the transformational results and power of a Biblical immersion in the Word and Spirit of God and the contrasting de-transformational results of a life which is not filled with the truth and power of God.
When Jesus came he spent three plus years proclaiming the Kingdom of God. Many could not or would not allow their world-view to be changed by the truth and power He proclaimed through a life that did the will of the Father and that was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

One of the most fascinating Biblical accounts of Jesus' impact on people is the account of the disciples on the road to Emmaus.
Lk 24:13-18
13 Now that same day two of them were going to a
village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 They were
talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they
talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and
walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him.
17 He asked them, "What are you discussing together as you walk along?"
They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things
that have happened there in these days?" They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things that have happened there in these days?"
19 "What things?" he asked. "About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a
prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The
chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and
they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to
redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took
place. 22 In addition, some of our women amazed us. They went to the tomb
early this morning 23 but didn't find his body. They came and told us that
they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 24 Then some of our
companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see." 25 He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. 28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, "Stay with us, for it
is nearly evening; the day is almost over." So he went in to stay with them.
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it
and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each
other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the
road and opened the Scriptures to us?"
Their hearts burned within them! The fire of God not only illuminates it also burns away the impure and all that is not of God.
Will you allow God to immerse you in His Word and Spirit, allowing His Spirit to illuminate and burn away all that is not of Him?Your World View will Change to His World View even as Moses' was changed when he spent 40 days and nights in the presence of God!
The light of His glory will not fade, but it will transform us as we immerse ourselves in His Word and Spirit continuously!

Experiencing the Presence of God:

I am relishing the deep truths unveiled in this study of the book of Hebrews.
Experiencing the Presence of God: Teachings From the Book of Hebrews by A W Tozer

Deep in the soul of every person on earth is a longing for the presence of God. The heart of every human being strives toward God, but only the redeemed can overcome the great barriers between God and man. For the greatest barrier of all is the conflict between man’s desire for God and his sinful desire to please himself. Experiencing the Presence of God is a never-before-published collection of teachings on the Book of Hebrews, adapted from sermons given to A. W. Tozer’s parishioners.

The renowned pastor and teacher examines through its pages what it means to dwell in God’s presence. Readers will explore the epistle’s sweeping grasp of history and see their own struggles in the “hero stories” recounted there. Through Tozer’s incomparable teaching and commentary, this ancient letter invites today’s believers into a fresh understanding and experience of God’s indwelling presence.
