God Calls Pure Virgin

Concept: God’s people have been chosen to have an undefiled relationship with Jesus our Messiah or Christ.
2 Cor 11:2 For I am zealous for you with a godly eagerness and a divine jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one Husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.  [Hos 2:19,20.] AMP

Today the concept of virginity, being completely dedicated to One God is almost unheard of even as the concept of virginity in our culture is un-fashionable. We consider ourselves masters of our own lives both in the natural and spiritual realms.

Holiness in our relationships runs contrary to our culture and still God wants to present us to Jesus the Bridegroom without spot or wrinkle. Thank God for His amazing grace and forgiveness of sin or no one would make it. Thank God we have these two promises.

1 Cor 10:11 For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and jadapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. AMP

1 John 1:9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action]. Thank God! His Grace is Still Amazing!
