God Calls you His Chosen people

Metaphor: Chosen people

Concept: Not only are we chosen, selected and elected as individual but God has a people, a household, and a community of people who receive His inheritance.
Isa 65:9; And I will bring forth an offspring from Jacob, and from Judah an inheritor of My mountains; My chosen and elect will inherit it, and My servants will dwell there. AMP

This selection is based on faith in God and was witnessed in Abraham and the results were God’s promises to Abraham and his descended from him.
Rom 4:3; For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed in (trusted in) God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness (right living and right standing with God).  [Gen 15:6.] AMP

The reality that we are part of a community of faith chosen by God should cause us to have a healthy understanding of the importance God places on relationships within the community of the household of faith. We are not on this journey alone. The well being of all of those who follow Jesus needs to be a part of our walk with God.

Today, as you walk with Jesus ask Him to make you more aware of what it means to be a part of the household of those who serve God and love Jesus with all of their hearts.  His Chosen People.
