Agora. The central square of a Greek city, usually translated as
the “marketplace.” The square was surrounded by public buildings, temples,
shops and so forth. Since many people would visit the agora for business,
shopping, leisure and public assemblies, it served as an ideal location to
proclaim the gospel (cf. Acts 16:19; 17:17).
Some of you will say I am not an Evangelist but
‘You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on
our[a] hearts, to be known and read by all. 3 And you show that you are a
letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of
the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.’ 2 Corinthians
2:2-3
You are called to be Fishers of Men in this Time of Harvest not
just in times past but Now is this Time and Season
Matthew 4:18-19 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw
two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into
the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I
will make you fishers of men."
People all around you need to see Him and know His life. Let His
good work in you impact those around you in your sphere of influence. God will
empower and instruct you in His ways and make you salt and light to a world in darkness.
Why not ask Him today how you can better be that living letter of his Grace and Goodness!
